When ready to drop, open up the high-speed adjuster to the preferred setting and hold on, it’s about to get fast. Lighter than the Grip X2, but similar in traction and predictability. The Grip X still hooks up on the corners, pins it through rocks and roots, and also flies back up to the top for more.
