A Dual DNA rubber compound with a rounded profile uses harder rubber and an elevated, nearly un-interupted centerline for pure straight-line speed on hardpack terrain while softer rubber on the staggered outer knobs allow you to stay on the gas while hammering up chunky climbs or hanging on through loose gravel corners. Underneath that fast rolling rubber is is a lightweight, large volume casing, and select models will add WTB’s SG2 protective layer that adds a bit of toughness for tackling technical terrain without impacting the smoother ride. Add in a tubeless ready bead that allows for lower tire pressures, more grip, and better flat protection, and the result is a tire that is an all-out gravel destroyer that can still appease those clamoring for a truly big cyclocross tire.
