These bib shorts combine a stretchy fabric made partially out of recycled materials from discarded fishing nets with a multi-panel construction that will reduce friction on the skin while hugging the leg muscles with just the right amount of support to keep them feeling fresh. Wide bands on the leg openings have a raw edge so the material will lay comfortably flush against the skin without pinching down while at the same preventing the material from sliding up the legs. Inside this outer short is a proprietary chamois featuring a soft outer layer that will stretch and nestle comfortably on the skin, and under that outer layer is carefully sculpted memory foam padding that provides the support needed to tackle intermediate length bike rides while maintaining a low profile to prevent bunching and excess friction on the skin. What sets these shorts apart from other bib shorts is a unique strap connection and back panel design that form Velocio’s FlyFree Drop-Tail design. When riding like normal, these shorts behave like traditional bib shorts with minimal sliding and excellent comfort, but if nature calls necessitating a pit stop, the back of these shorts are designed to stretch down and out of the way without having to take off any layers first, simplifying things and making it much faster to get back on the bike.
